CEMETERY APPEAL

A heartfelt thanks to all those who have already donated to our Cemetery appeal.

We launched the appeal at the Cemetery Sundays in May and June.

As a Parish, we want to ensure that our cemeteries are kept in a fitting way for our dead.

The appeal launched was to support the following projects:

St. Peter’s, The Rock Cemetery

Resurfacing of all the paths which would cost approximately £15,000.

St. Joseph’s & Our Lady’s Cemeteries, Hannahstown –

Resurfacing of all the paths and the building of a stone wall fronting St. Joseph’s Cemetery which will replicate the stone wall in the Church grounds which would cost approximately £65,000.

These are significant amounts of money to raise but we hope – with your generosity – to complete these projects, which will certainly enhance the sacred places where our dead are buried.

If you would like to make a donation to support these projects it can be done in any of the following ways:

By BACS transfer – Name of Account: Hannahstown Parish Sort Code: 93-84-75, Account Number: 35232062 (Please reference your transfer with – “Cemetery Appeal” and please notify the Parish with your details so that we can acknowledge your donation).

By Cheque – please make your cheque payable to “Hannahstown Parish.”

By Cash – please place it in an envelope and bring it to the Parish Office. If you would like an information pack or a gift aid form please call to the parish office during opening hours.
